There are a couple of pinouts available for programming the MSF5000 (those that are software programmable, not the ...CLB... models).
Here is the cable for the 6 pin modular connector version (the CONTROL jack on the front of the radio):
6 pin Mod Function 25 Pin RIB (RADIO) 1 GROUND 1 2 AUDIO GND NC 3 MIC AUDIO NC 4 /MIC PTT NC 5 SPKR AUDIO NC 6 LOGIC GND 15 (JUMPER 11 to 4)
Looking at the front of the radio, pin 1 is on the left and pin 6 is on the right of the Control jack.

The X is the center key. Check Pin 21 with a meter to ground to confirm orientation.
